MCS’s Principled Negotiations and Compelling Partnerships program is typically delivered in 3 or 4.5 consecutive days to a group of up to 12 participants. This course helps participants develop their negotiation capabilities so that they may produce wise and profitable agreements. Handling conflict situations and keeping the relationship in place is addressed using our 7-step model for negotiating. This 7-step model was built on extensive research and the modeling of top negotiators. Each participant's awareness will increase as to where they are within any negotiation. We will review all the aggressive negotiator tactics so that they become obvious, along with simple responses that bring any negotiation back to a Behavior-Based negotiation. The 7-step model can be used in situations ranging from running a meeting to creating a collective bargaining agreement.
